Leadership Readiness:
Foundation to Mastery

The AI Leadership Readiness Assessment tells you where the gaps are.
This programme closes them.

A 12-month scenario-based development programme building leadership capability from the inside out - starting with what leaders don't know they don't know, and building through to the AI-era executive skills that turn readiness into results.

This programme stands alone

Leadership Readiness: Foundation to Mastery does not require the AI Leadership Readiness Assessment as a prerequisite. It is designed to deliver value independently - for leaders and organisations who know they need to build foundational leadership capability, whether or not they have completed a formal diagnostic at the exec level first. The two work best together, but each stands alone.

Phase 1 · Months 1–6

The 5 Leadership Blind Spots

The foundational leadership gaps most leaders don't know they have. Each blind spot is a pattern - in how leaders see themselves, how they affect others, and what they consistently miss. Addressing them builds the infrastructure that every other leadership capability depends on.

Blind Spot 1 · Month 1

Self-Awareness & Emotional Impact

The gap between how leaders see themselves and how they actually land with their teams. Between intent and impact. What you don't know you don't know about your own effect on others.

Why it matters for AI: Leaders who can't see their own fear or resistance signal it to their teams - creating organisational anxiety that derails adoption before it begins.
Blind Spot 2 · Month 2

Psychological Safety & Trust

Building the conditions where teams will raise concerns, admit mistakes, and experiment without fear. The foundation of learning, innovation, and honest communication.

Why it matters for AI: Teams that don't feel safe won't raise concerns about AI tools, won't admit when something isn't working, and won't experiment - killing the learning cycle implementation depends on.
Blind Spot 3 · Month 3

Communication & Relationship Dynamics

How leaders listen, how they are heard, and the gap between the two. The patterns in how they communicate under pressure - and what those patterns cost.

Why it matters for AI: Leaders who lecture about AI rather than listening to team concerns miss the critical insights that determine whether implementation succeeds or stalls.
Blind Spot 4 · Month 4

Delegation & Empowerment

The difference between delegating tasks and genuinely empowering people. How leaders become bottlenecks without realising it - and what that costs at scale.

Why it matters for AI: Leaders who can't let go of tasks AI could handle become the constraint that slows transformation. Delegation is the mechanism that makes scaling possible.
Blind Spot 5 · Month 5

Feedback & Performance Conversations

The conversations leaders avoid, the feedback they dilute, and the performance dynamics they leave unaddressed. What happens to teams when honest feedback is absent.

Why it matters for AI: Leaders who can't coach teams through a learning curve - the inevitable messiness of new capability development - stunt growth at the most critical stage.
Month 6

Full Reassessment + Growth Report

Parallel reassessment across all five blind spots. Individual Growth Report measuring capability development since Month 1 - showing how far each leader has come and providing the foundation context that makes Phase 2 meaningful.

Phase 2 · Months 7–12

Executive Leadership Readiness

For leaders who have addressed the foundational blind spots, Phase 2 builds the advanced capabilities required to lead in an AI-era environment - where decisions are more complex, stakes are higher, and leading people through continuous change demands a new kind of leadership.

Months 7–9

Executive Leadership Readiness

  • Intellectual Humility - leading with curiosity, not certainty
  • Decisive Confidence - making good decisions under ambiguity
  • Authentic Vulnerability - leading honestly in high-stakes contexts
  • Adaptive Resilience - sustaining performance through continuous change

Months 10–11

AI-Era Leadership Skills

  • Critical thinking and judgement in AI-augmented environments
  • Curiosity and continuous learning as leadership practice
  • Human-AI collaboration - knowing when to lead, when to leverage
  • Ethical leadership in technology-driven contexts

Month 12

Capstone + Growth Report + Certificate

  • Final reassessment across all programme content
  • Comprehensive Growth Report - full 12-month capability development
  • Adeptis Learning Certificate in AI Leadership Readiness

Why does this programme work when others don't?

The methodology is grounded in a core principle: scenario immersion captures authentic responses, not performed ones. Pattern recognition questions ("how do you typically respond") invite the answer leaders think you want to hear. Scenario immersion ("what are you feeling right now") captures how they actually behave.

Scenario immersion, not pattern recognition

Each scenario places leaders in realistic, contextually rich situations - capturing authentic responses that reveal actual behaviour rather than self-reported ideals

Progressive complexity

Content builds systematically - from foundational self-awareness through to advanced AI-era capabilities. Each phase builds on the previous one

Individual and cohort learning

Scenario-based learning builds individual capability. Cohort sessions create shared language, accountability, and the conditions for culture change

Research foundation

The methodology draws on peer-reviewed research in organisational psychology, behavioural science, and neuroscience. Business case grounded in published research from MIT, McKinsey, HBR, and WEF

Platform at scale

13,000+ Concurrent users supported on platform infrastructure - proven at organisational scale

Delivered through scenario-based learning on a platform built for scale. Personalised dashboards for every participant. Progress tracked in real time.

Cohort sessions delivered in person across New Zealand, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific region - and virtually for organisations globally.
